Graduate House Program

Established in 1997, the mission of the VTH Graduate
Programs is to provide independent, affordable, structured,
drug/alcohol-free living situations to veterans in order
that they may continue to build on the lessons learned in
the initial VTH program with the goal of achieving
successful independent living within the community.
The VTH Graduate Housing Program facilities began with
Independence House, a six-apartment Victorian-style house. A
five-apartment facility, Liberty House, was added with the
purchase of a “Whaling Era” captain’s house. A third
facility, Patriots’ House providing housing for six
additional veterans is located adjacent to the main VTH
campus.
